Jocklyn (Jackie) Bush is not your “Ordinary Publicist.” Her “Public Relations Career” began when (2) NFL players gave her the “Opportunity of a Life Time” by representing them. They made this choice after watching her create an “Innovative Public Relations and Marketing Campaigns” for a product (Newport Cigarette Brand Family). They saw a product initially not in the “Top” 100 tobacco brands soar to the # 1 Menthol Brand “Nationally.” That was over “10 Years Ago” and Newport is still the “Top” selling menthol tobacco product. Falling in love with publicity Bush felt she needed to learn from the bottom up and inside out. Therefore, she quit her 8 to 5 and went back to school full time to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Relations fulfilling her dream. Upon graduation she interned in the Public Relations Department at a top radio station handling all aspects of public relations. Accepting a second internship at a national athletic apparel company, she handled all aspects of product placement and public relations in the television and movies divisions. Striking out on her own, she began specializing in creating and developing images for actors/directors, comedians, musicians, athletes, authors, clothing designers and other entertainment personalities. Quickly she set (and exceeded) her goals of placing clients in community and other cross promotional opportunities to maximize exposure for the clients and build brand awareness. Thus, it should be no surprise that both her impressive credentials and background includes several years of successful public relation campaigns with National and International contacts. This includes being publicist and/or public relation director for movies (films), music/comedy/literary tours, as well as, fashion designers, reality stars and the like. In addition, Bush has worked in production/credentials/media relations for top nationally televised award shows.
